Beaver Theodosakis

A veteran of the action sports and outdoor industry, Beaver has spent the majority of his adult life focused on understanding and creating products for young active consumers.

In 1984 Beav and 2 friends started a surf lifestyle apparel brand named Life’s A beach and a year later launched a sub brand called Bad Boy Club. These brands achieved a cult-like status with surfers, skaters, snowboarders and urban street culture.

 In 1993, with his wife Pam, started apparel brand Prana which has become a leader in the outdoor and yoga communities and has captured the attention of the fast growing ‘cultural creative’ consumer base.

 In 1994, Mr. Theodosakis co-founded Spy Optic, an eyewear company that caters to the youth dominated action sports industry. Beaver has held the roles of President,

VP of Marketing and Brand Steward and is credited with defining and managing the direction of the powerful Spy brand.

 In 2014 he began helping a young inventor that created a portable shower system called RinseKit and is actively involved in the branding and marketing of the product worldwide.

 Beaver sits on the board of the Outdoor Foundation, participates in numerous socially conscious events and regularly mentors young entrepreneurs to help them build mindful businesses. He enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, fly fishing, gardening and is passionate about creating beautiful landscapes that require minimal water.
